The appearance of silverfish, or silverfish, as it is commonly known, is frequent and has the risk of creating real pests
If there is a bug that anyone has ever seen at home, it is the dust bug. Its real name is ‘Lepisma Saccharina’, although there are numerous ways to call it (silverfish, silver cord or water cockroach). Its shape may resemble that of a small centipede, but nothing further. This insect lives on materials such as mold, cardboard, paper and amylose (starchy) foods, it has a grayish color due to its silvery scales and it usually appears in homes. It is important to find out why this bug appears and how it can be eliminated.
Humidity is almost always the starting point for many mites and insects. One of them, generally the most common, is the dust bug or ‘Lepisma Saccharina’. Its size allows it to easily hide under furniture. On numerous occasions it is difficult to find him because he flees quickly and dodges any attempt to stomp. Its presence is very frequent and it is usually found in poorly lit places.
This insect has the risk of creating a large infestation. It can completely invade a place and is capable of creating real pests, especially when there are damp areas in the house. For this reason, it is really important to kill it or simply prevent it from appearing. And many times you have to look carefully, because it usually appears in rooms that spend less time on, such as toilets.
