Telegram evolves with further updates towards an engaging and less energy-consuming messaging experience.
With the increasingly widespread use of messaging apps in everyday life, competition in the sector is becoming increasingly heated, with each platform trying to get the better of the others with attractive features.
This desire pushed Telegram to improve your design and the services offered, with the aim of bringing an increasingly larger audience closer to its chats, encouraging communication, sharing and time spent within the app itself.
The blue messaging platform has recently implemented interesting updates, available for free download on the Play Store.
While focusing on perfecting the messaging system, the latest version of Telegram features a redesigned calling interface, a clear attempt to give itself a less formal and more engaging tone.
Furthermore, it appears that this feature was designed for consume less battery compared to the past.
This new update, in addition to introducing improvements in calls, also offers new animations and optimizations for the app's bot platform.
For the new generations
Vaporize is the new function to delete messages in a “scenic” way on Telegram.
This new visual effect accompanies the deletion of messages, aiming to insert a touch of entertainment into the app.
One of the funniest new features involves displaying deleted text as an explosion of vanishing dots.
This effect has already become commonly known as “Thanos Snap” and leaves a blank space in place of the deleted message.
Meanwhile, Telegram has introduced significant improvements to its platform as of now dedicated to bots.
These software will be enhanced with new features that will allow them to react to messages, manage mentions, links and replies, thus making interaction with them much more efficient.
The goal is to offer frequent bot users more comprehensive support by allowing them to actively participate in different chats on various topics. This update makes it easier to use, significantly expanding the interaction possibilities for Telegram users.
Resources and calls
Voice calls on Telegram have undergone a notable improvement, with a complete redesign of the interface and the addition of dynamic wallpapers that change depending on the status of the call: in progress, active or ended.
This new design requires fewer resources, ensuring energy savings and better performance, especially on older devices.
The developers worked on general performance, aiming to reduce system requirements to ensure greater fluidity during calls and videos.
These new features come following the announcement a month ago of improvements in channels, emoji customization for reactions and statistics for stories, with a view to competitive improvement compared to WhatsApp.
The latter made the broadcast channels function available to all users in September 2023, and continues to refine it, although Telegram had already introduced channels some time ago.
The same thing happened with the use of usernames instead of numbers, still under development for the green app but soon to be implemented.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, recently reported on WhatsApp's broadcast channel that the channels feature has surpassed 500 million monthly active users.
