Renewed The Omavero service will open on Monday afternoon after several days of downtime. The service was closed due to an update on Thursday afternoon, after which no tax matters could be handled online before that date.

After the reform, it will be easier to use Omavero than before, for example on a smartphone, as the service will be adapted to the user’s terminal in the future, the tax administration says on Twitter. Through the service, personal customers also receive a tax card faster than before.

With the reform, the appearance of the service and the ID of the Omavero service will also change.

According to the tax administration, the reform of Omavero is part of the development of the entire tax system, which has a total direct external cost of EUR 17.3 million. The costs will be spread over the years 2020–2022.
