Tax revenues, in the first eight months of the year the increase is 9% to 38.3 billion euros
Growth of 9% for a total of 38.3 billion euros: this is the data of tax and social security income of the first eight months of the year, announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The figure takes into account the positive change of 10.5%, equal to 29,347 million euros, in tax revenues and the growth in tax revenues of 6.1%, equal to 8,986 million euros. The amount of tax revenue it also includes the main taxes of the local authorities and the corrective items, therefore it integrates the data already released with the note of last October 5, we read.
The corrective posts in the first eight months of 2021 they amounted to 29,408 million euros, an increase compared to the corresponding period of last year (+3,503 million euros, +13.5 percent). Compensation relating to direct taxes (+1,179 million euros, +11.3 per cent), compensation relating to indirect taxes (+624 million euros, +5.2 per cent) and those relating to local authorities ( +35 million euros, +7.1 percent). Winnings recorded a significant growth (+1,665 million euros, +55.4 percent) linked to the increase in lottery revenues.
