Everything indicates that the changes introduced in this installment of the saga were more than well received.
Tales of Arise, the latest installment in Bandai Namco’s long JRPG saga, has surpassed the 1.5 million units sold, since its launch on September 10. This is the second achievement on the market for the title, after selling one million copies during its first week on sale.
The game sold 1 million copies during its first weekTo celebrate this huge triumph for the title, its art director, Minoru Iwamoto, published a new illustration of the game on social networks. In it, we see the characters Rinwell, Law and Hootle, happy that their adventure reached the aforementioned sales figure.
Tales of Arise owes this triumph, at least in a fraction, to its welcome changes over previous installments. The fighting are more dynamic than ever, thanks to the roots of the producer Yusuke tomizawa, who worked on God Eater and Code Vein. All of this, however, did not damage the traditions of this franchise, and the combination was well received.
What’s next for the franchise? Although nothing is officially confirmed, Tomizawa mentioned a long time ago that he would like to have more remasters or re-releases, this in order to increase the number of fans of the saga.
