Now, a new installment is about to arrive and Microids has already made the release date of Syberia: The World Before official. It will be available on PC from next December 10. A version for consoles is also planned, which would arrive throughout 2022, without a specific date.
The game will take place in two different time framesThis will be a special delivery, since last May Benoit Sokal, creator of the saga and a visionary of the sector, passed away, who could not overcome a long disease. In the last months of his life he was working on the development of this adventure, which will soon see the light of day.
To celebrate the launch, Microids has also published a new trailer for the game, which lets us see a little more about its visual style and synopsis of your story, which will take us through different times and places in the world, where it will be time to explore and investigate.
As you can get an idea from its title, Syberia: The World Before will be a prequel to the original games, and will take us to the year 1937. We will drive to Dana Roze, a pianist facing the threat of a group of fascists at the dawn of World War II. The game will take place in two time arcs and we will also see again Kate walker, the protagonist par excellence, who will have to overcome all the puzzles that she finds to fulfill her objective.
