The new generation of Suzuki S-Cross is nearing its debut. In recent days, the Japanese car manufacturer has released some teaser images of a new SUV that will be unveiled on November 25th: although the brand has not made it official that it will be the new S-Cross, everything suggests that when the veils are removed from the new model you will admire right the next generation of its crossover. While waiting for the model to be unveiled, the first spy photos of the new S-Cross have emerged on the web.
The current generation of the Japanese SUV debuted in 2013, but over the years it has undergone a series of updates: in 2017 it received a major restyling, while two years later it was implemented with a light hybrid system. The new generation of the S-Cross will be placed in the range above the Vitara, which will be slightly smaller in size. From an aesthetic point of view, the design of the new generation of the Japanese crossover will be more angular than that of the current version of the model, and will be embellished with renewed LED headlights and a larger radiator grille. There will also be some new features at the rear, starting with the more impressive headlights and the angular wheel arches. For all the other stylistic details it will be necessary to wait another ten days, when Suzuki will unveil the new generation of the S-Cross.
From the point of view of the engine range, the latest rumors reported by Carscoops suggest that the new S-Cross will share its updated foundations with the Next generation Vitara. This means that under the hood will be hidden a 1.4-liter Boosterjet turbo engine combined with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, which in the current generation of the SUV delivers 127 hp of total power and 235 Nm of maximum torque. The system will also be provided AllGrip Select all-wheel drive by Suzuki and a series of latest generation ADAS systems.
