The developer of Scorn Ebb Software has just announced a welcome surprise. The upcoming “atmospheric first-person horror adventure” will now launch a full week earlier than previously announced, with a new release date on October 14.
In the previous months, fans were worried that Scorn might even see a postponement from 2022, like so many other titles, so there is obviously some surprise to see the opposite.
Scorn takes players to an isolated, strange, and dreamlike world. Left unguided to fend for themselves, players must explore Scorn’s interconnected bio-maze, learning its rules and mastering grotesque puzzles along the way as they come to understand their situation. By uncovering secrets and collecting the strange biomechanical tools that appear to have been used by the civilization that previously called this world home, survival may be possible. Finding the truth, however, is an entirely different matter.
The new release date of Scorn, we repeat, is October 14: the game will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass as well as on PC and Xbox Series X / S.
