The next 100 years will be the times of the so-called i-imperialism and will be associated with the active division and “colonization” of cyberspace. Such a political forecast for the period up to 2121 was given by the former aide to the President of Russia Vladislav Surkov in his article for the portal “Topical comments”…
According to Surkov, in the coming century, humanity will survive several wars for the “American inheritance”, and one of them, most likely, will become nuclear. As a result, a new system of global distribution of domination and subordination will emerge in the world.
At the same time, the ex-assistant to the Russian leader noted that the models of state structure themselves will change slowly and will not undergo serious changes in the coming years. “Political mutations accumulate slowly, and only at the end of the century, reforms and revolutions will give rise to several new types of states that will develop and gain strength by the beginning of the next century,” Surkov predicted.
As a result, the customary currently existing forms of political organization of society will be replaced by new, futuristic patterns, he believes. At the same time, Surkov did not indicate the exact time when this will happen.
In June, Surkov, in an interview with the Financial Times, admitted that Ukraine could in the future be transformed into a confederation with the right of the regions to independently resolve issues. According to him, the country will be divided by the geopolitical attraction of Russia and the West, between which it is located.
Surkov joined the presidential administration in 1999, becoming an assistant to the head of the Presidential Administration. For many years, he was in charge of domestic policy issues, as well as issues of relations between Russia and Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Ukraine and the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass. In addition, Surkov is known as the author of the terms “sovereign democracy” and “Putinism”, the last of which he devoted an article in 2019.
