The charging network Supercharger Tesla will soon be available to owners of electric cars of any brand. The announcement was made by Elon Musk, the CEO of the Palo Alto brand, who cited the end of the year as a deadline for this forecast to become reality. We remind you that the Supercharger network, including 2,500 stations with 25,000 charging points worldwide, is currently reserved for Tesla drivers only, although the company is now preparing the turning point.
Tesla Model S Plaid, impressive shot
“Before the end of the year we will open our Supercharger network to electric vehicles from other houses – Elon Musk wrote without too many words on Twitter – Over time, it will reach all possible countries ”. A news certainly welcomed by owners of battery-powered vehicles of any brand, least certainly by those who own a Tesla: most of them consider the exclusive Supercharger network a key advantage of the purchase of a Tesla, so offering this possibility to other brands would be a step back in their opinion. We will now see how Tesla intends to operate: it cannot be excluded that the Palo Alto carmaker decides to apply different rates for customers of other car brands who will rely on the Supercharger network.
