This afternoon will be the last chance for fans of Super Smash Bros Ultimate to link to the episodes of Mr Sakurai Presents, where the director Masahiro Sakurai will feature the latest character to join the roster of fighters scheduled for Fighter Pass Vol. 2.
Since its release in December 2018, Super Smash Bros Ultimate has seen his circle widen more and more, with periodic fighter introductions from many other games. Also, every time is expected the arrival of new costumes for Mii Warriors inspired by the title in question.
Just think of Sephirot’s arrival Final Fantasy VII, announced with a presentation trailer shown during the 2020 Game Awards, and for the occasion the costumes were based on Barret, Tifa and Areith. The time has finally come. The final episode of Mr. Sakurai Presents went live on the official YouTube channels of Nintendo at 16:00 (Italian time) and, as announced, they have confirmed again that it will be the last presentation regarding the game.
Starting the lot was the content intended for Mii Warriors, inspired by Splatoon, with a wig, inspired by Octoling, a hat inspired by Giudigatto. For what concern swimsuit, comes nothing less than from Doom the armor of Doom Slayer (or DoomGuy, as it is called by some other fans). All of these will be available starting October 19.
Surprisingly, the last character to finish the Super Smash Bros Ultimate batch will be Sora, directly from the saga of Kingdom Hearts. The fighter was announced with a wonderful trailer, followed by a small gameplay segment, where Sakurai illustrated the moves we will have available, as well as strengths and weaknesses, along with variants of his appearance.
Sora has been one of the most requested characters over the years. At the time of Super Smash Bros for WiiU and 3DS a poll was launched and many voted for the protagonist of Kingdom Hearts like the most desired to be able to play on the Nintendo fighting game.
Also, it will come a new scenario with a simple platform, but with a moving background featuring the Dark Fortress from Kingdom Hearts II. The arena will be able to change its appearance, showing in the background a window with representations of Sora, Riky, Roxas, Xion, Terra, Ventus and Aqua.
The set dedicated to Sora will also be available starting next October 19th, concluding the Fighter Pass Vol. 2. However, it is still too early to have a release date of the Amiibo, since Sakurai himself called it still in the works. we will wait for further updates.
