Super pumped: the battle for Uber is the name of the first season of the series that will tell us about the origin of the famous taxi app, Uber. Delivery comes through Paramount Plus and will star the renowned actor for his participation in the film 500 days with Summer, Joseph Gordon-Levittwho will take on the role of the CEO of UberTravis Kalanick.
The plot will focus on narrating the meteoric rise of the Silicon Valley-based company until Kalanick’s eventual dismissal amid sexual harassment complaints and surrounded by a toxic environment.

The series is based on the book of the same name by Mike Isaac, which chronicles the rise of the technology company and the controversy that accompanied it. As can be seen in the trailer, it will also show the CEO’s relationship with Bill Gurley, a Texan venture capitalist who mentored Kalanick during his early years. In addition, you can see the relationship he had with Ariana Huffington, co-founder of HuffPost and member of the board of directors of Uber.

Brian Koppelman and David Levien will be the creators of the production while Beth Schacter will be the showrunner. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will share the cast with Elisabeth Shue, Kerry Bishé, Jon Bass, Bridget Gao Hollitt and Babak Tafti.
When is Super pumped: the battle for Uber released?
So far, it is only known that it will be released in the US. via Showtime next Sunday, February 27. Paramount Plus has only released the trailer but has not yet announced the release date.
