A weekend awaits Spain with sunny weather, with thermometers at normal values, and calm, except for some rain in the extreme north of the peninsula and isolated storms in the east, especially in mountainous areas. In the extreme north there will be cloudy skies due to the passage of a front and this afternoon “an isolated downpour cannot be ruled out in the east of the Peninsula.”
Saturday, light rains in the extreme north and, in the afternoon, rains and showers in the eastern third, which in the southeast “may occur from the morning.” In the rest of the country, cloudy intervals and “temperatures that will drop as it also becomes cooler after the passage of the front” are expected. The fall will be notable in areas of the northeast of the Peninsula, especially in Navarra, La Rioja and western Aragón. In the Cantabrian Sea, the maximum temperatures will be between 18° and 22°, while the warmest environment will be in the southern third: from 32° to 34° in Andalusia, the south of the Valencian Community and Murcia; and more than 34° in the Guadalquivir.
Sunday will be a “calm” day, except in Galicia and Asturias, where a front will leave rain and light showers, and in the eastern third and in Mallorca, where some scattered showers may fall. Temperatures will rise in the west and north and will fall in the Mediterranean area and the Balearic Islands: “They will exceed 30° in the northeast, central and southern half and up to 34° to 36° in Guadalquivir.”
