The Jiu-Jitsu summer camp, organized by the Jiu-Jitsu Federation in partnership with the World Vision Investment Company, concluded its activities after 6 weeks, during which it achieved great success, and welcomed a large number of jiu-jitsu athletes from all over the country.
The camp ran from July 18 to August 26, at the Jujitsu Arena and a selection of UAEJJ Fitness centers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain.
The training sessions welcomed athletes between the ages of 6 and 16, allowing them to take advantage of the summer vacation to hone their skills and raise awareness of jiu-jitsu, in preparation for their future professional journey.
The camp attracted promising talents in separate categories for beginners and experienced, over four classes daily from Monday to Friday, in line with the athletes’ experience and skill level.
Abdullah Al Zaabi, Head of Events and Activities Department at the Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said: The summer camp has achieved its goals and received very positive responses from young people, youth and their families. regional and global.
Jaber Ghanem, a participant in the camp, said: I am very happy to participate in the summer camp, which provided an ideal opportunity to practice my favorite sport and enjoy the summer vacation. The training sessions allowed us to improve our skills, and learn about important methods and tips under the supervision of elite coaches.
Ghanem Al-Hajri, Jaber’s father, expressed his great happiness with the activities organized by the federation, stressing that his son had a unique opportunity during the camp. He said: The efforts of the Jujitsu Federation, with the support of our wise leadership, prompted me not to hesitate to register my son in the camp when expressing his desire to do so. And I am happy to see him interested in this distinguished sport, especially with the many titles achieved by the youth of the Emirates in international tournaments.
