The Referees Committee of the Football Association assigned the two international referees Sultan Muhammad Salih, “Square Referee” and Masoud Hassan, “Assistant Referee,” as part of the refereeing team that manages the Arab Cup matches for the U-20 youth teams, which will be hosted in the city of Abha, Saudi Arabia, from July 20 to August 6 next. .
The decision to assign, at the request of the Arab Football Association, to nominate two international referees from the Emirates to participate in the management of the tournament matches, and our international referee Sultan Muhammad Saleh had previously participated in the management of the matches of the previous version of the same tournament, which was held last year in Egypt, as it was recently approved within Elite referees in the continent of Asia for the year 2022, after graduating from the first batch of the Referees Academy of the Continental Confederation last February.
The international elite assistant referee, Masoud Hassan, recently participated in the arbitration staff of the Vietnam International Friendly Championship that was held last May in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi, and the Japan International Championship in June 2021, in addition to his participation in the arbitration teams that ran the President’s Cup and the Professional League competitions in the 2021-2022 season. .
