Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok issued a decision appointing 4 advisors, most notably Yasser Arman as his political advisor. The decision also included the appointment of Aisha Hamad Mohammed as a gender advisor, Ali Jama Abdullah as an advisor on governance and institutional reform, and Hassan Nasrallah Ali Karrar as a peace advisor.
The Sudanese Prime Minister also issued a decision relieving Al-Tahir Abdul Gayoom from the position of the Auditor General, and assigning Fakhr Al-Din Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed to run the functions of the Auditor General.
Well-informed Sudanese sources told Al-Ittihad that Hamdok wanted to benefit from Arman’s great experience in political work to overcome the obstacles facing the transitional phase, with his great experience in struggle and political work, and his extended relations with all spectrums of Sudanese society.
