A strong fire registered in the central area of MexicaliBaja California, left as balance a lifeless person and at least six businesses with damages, the early morning of this Tuesday, May 21.
The incident occurred on Ignacio Altamirano Street and Callejón Iglesias, in the First Section neighborhood.
Elements of Mexicali Firefighters and CFE personnel went to the scene to put out the flames and when they put out a large part of the incident, they found the charred body of a man who was trapped in the fire, who was apparently the place’s watchman.
Firefighters were at the scene for several hours working to completely extinguish the fire, while Municipal Police officers closed the perimeter to avoid risks.
According to the first reports, the cause of the fire It could have been due to a cut in the transformer.
