When it comes to stroke, the crucial time is: every second lost before a piece of our brain that goes away intervenes, for this reason promptly identifying the symptoms is the first step towards salvation. Even 15 minutes can make a difference. Rescuing a stroke patient at least a quarter of an hour early, explains a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, can truly save lives and prevent disability. The research, conducted by the University of California, examined data on nearly 7,000 people with ischemic stroke with an average age of 70.
