At present, the International Organization for Migration is helping to manage more than 60 sites designated to receive and shelter displaced persons, provide the necessary services there, as well as provide cash support to those who have recently been displaced, as well as to families whose places of residence need to be rehabilitated. .

According to the figures of the United Nations, the aggressive Houthi practices force about two-thirds of Yemenis to rely on humanitarian aid, and have led to nearly 18 million of them needing support in terms of access to drinking water, sanitation services, and the necessary supplies to maintain personal hygiene.
The UN official warned that the humanitarian situation in Yemen is getting worse for migrants in its lands, especially women, who face miserable conditions.
According to independent estimates, the war, fueled by the Houthi gang, has displaced nearly 4.3 million Yemenis over the past seven years. It also caused massive damage to infrastructure facilities, which exacerbates the suffering of the displaced and migrants, in light of the fact that Yemen is still a pivotal station on the migration route from the Horn of Africa.
