Stray it’s a little gem, but the version PC of the game seems to be a bit underwhelming from a technical point of view: it does not support DualSenseat least not in its more specific functions, and it offers few graphics options.
Already at 60,000 users on Steam, the best launch ever for an Annapurna game, Stray it will definitely be updated by BlueTwelve Studios to fix these problems, but at present the situation is the one just described.
Specifically, the DualSense controllerthat’s on PS5 guarantees an imaginative use of haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and even the integrated speaker, even simulating the purr, on PC it barely guarantees normal vibration.
Furthermore, as mentioned, the graphic options are limited: in addition to the inevitable items relating to resolution, frame rate and vertical sync, the game allows you to manage only a handful of presets: quality of effects, quality of shadows, quality of textures and quality of meshes.
However, it seems that the developers have already expressed their desire to improve the PC version of Stray on Discord, first of all adding more complete support to DualSense so that the experience can offer the same sensations as PlayStation 5.
