Sheriff’s interpreter Jim Hopper, David Harbor, during an interview on the occasion of his latest cinema works, he talked about Stranger Things, missing out on a juicy spoiler for fans.
The focus of the interview was on the two films that saw him in the cast recently: in addition to the signed film Marvel Studios Black Widow we also find it in the thriller No Sudden Move, directed by Steven Soderbergh. In the middle of the chat it was inevitable to go and talk about Stranger Things, the famous signed series Netflix which in the last couple of years has seen quite a bit of production problems.
After a teaser trailer that revealed the survival of Harbor’s character in early 2020, the series saw a break in filming due to the outbreak of the pandemic. Unfortunately, after a recovery in the second half of last year, there was another hiatus that further slowed the development of the fourth season. Given the scarcity of information, fans are curious about any news that can be extrapolated.
In response to the interviewer who asked for rumors about it a possible fifth season of Stranger Things, David Harbor confirmed that it is in the plans. Speaking of working with the creators of the series (i Duffer brothers), the actor said that when you work closely with people like them it’s easy to find out which directions the characters can go, alluding to the sheriff’s narrative arc.
Throughout the second and third seasons we have seen how Hopper has become a paternal surrogate for the young Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) and following what we saw in the aforementioned teaser, this will be the engine that will push the man to reunite with all his strength to his protégé. Harbor finally announced how the narrative arc of his character will see a sort of resurrection, adding that he should “to be reborn to create something new», Also to revisit the relationship with Eleven.
Waiting for an official announcement regarding the release date, we had another teaser trailer a couple of months ago thanks to which we could expect a deepening of the experiments held in Hawkins’ laboratory in the next season of Stranger Things.
