The violinist Jorge Guillén has transgressed the borders of the established
Jorge Guillén, known as Strad, is a violinist who has transgressed the boundaries of the established to conceive a project where music takes on different dimensions. Strad, who on this occasion leaves behind the title of ‘El Violinista Rebelde’, arrives this Sunday at the El Batel Auditorium with his new show entitled ‘Ícaro’. A new professional challenge where music is intertwined with performance to conceive an adventure divided into two acts that tells the true story of a grandfather and his grandson. A story about the perseverance, affection and will of a young man who is willing to do the impossible to fulfill the wish of his grandfather. To frame such an odyssey, a real-life plane will be built during the show with which to reach the sky and say goodbye to grandpa. In this way, Sala A of El Batel will be transformed into an airport thanks to the collaboration of the Yllana company and its entire team of set designers, builders and designers who, it should be noted, manage to bring a life-size biplane to each performance.
