They held up banners that read “Save Food, Save Lives.” According to the “last generation”, another protest action was prevented by the police. A police spokesman said there were actions around Frankfurt Airport, for example on the feeder roads and intersections. “This causes traffic delays.”
There were similar disruptive actions at the airports in Berlin and Hamburg. “With their actions, the last generation demands the implementation of the measures of the representative climate council and an immediate food-saving law,” the activists explained.
