With the success achieved on PS5 at launch, the Korean team Shift Up seems to be thinking of capitalizing on the interest generated by Stellar Blade and possibly expand its audience by planning a possible one PC version and also a following.
During the financial conference that the team held for the public offering of the Korea Composite Stock Price Index, the study revealed something about the future projectsin order to promote the company and make it attractive to investors, and among these plans interesting developments have also emerged for Stellar Blade.
“As for Stellar Blade, we plan to introduce new gameplay elements, including downloadable content“, we read in the presentation document, thus making clear the intention to expand the game after launch.
Stellar Blade aims to expand
As for the PC version, this is clearly mentioned: after talking about the downloadable content, the press release also indicates “a PC version and new collaborations on a new intellectual property“.
The point is also reiterated later: “There are many precedents of triple-A titles that have evolved into franchises, extending their life cycle through a series of high-quality sequels and maintaining a large user base. As a result, we are exploring the possibility of a PC version of Stellar Blade and a sequel.”
In addition to this, Shift Up also talked about the new project in development, currently identified by the code name Project Witches, which will apparently be a cross-platform title to launch simultaneously on console, PC and mobile platforms in 2027 or later.
