Guide to All Fishing Spots
It is necessary to inform you that fishing will not be available from the start of the game. Complete the main mission “Reflections” in the Vast Desert. This way you will gain access to the Clyde’s shop, who will be happy to sell you bait and other useful objects in exchange for fishing points, which you will earn, guess how? Fishing.
There are 25 fish in totalbut you just need to draw some 20 to get the trophy silver”Lonely Fisherman“. But before you start fishing, we strongly recommend that you replace your fishing controls, to make the experience easier. Make sure you hold down the square button, rather than repeatedly pressing it, and hold R2 to slowly reach the blue line and reel in the fish.
Fish can be of five different sizes:
- small fishwhich can be caught with a shrimp;
- medium fishwhich can be fished with a wriggling insect;
- big fishwhich is obtained with a piece of fish;
- giant fishwhich can be attracted with a special bait;
- huge fish (jumbo fish)obtainable with a fantastic bait.
Apart from the jumbo fish, it will be possible to fish the other four types of fish using the bait most suitable for them. There is another type of bait, called “Strange Bait”, which will increase your chances of catching rubbish or other strange stuff lying on the bottom. Strange baits are not purchased, but can be found in some boxes that can be found during fishing sessions.
Have you run out of bait and have no more points to buy them? Do not worry, because you can fish even without bait, but the results will come much later. Be patient.
