Stellantis prepares to ensure a solid future for its UK manufacturing facility in Ellesmere Port. In recent weeks, some pessimistic rumors have circulated about the fate of the factory, but the company born from the merger between the FCA and PSA groups is ready to make a decision that will save the plant: to add the production of an electric van.

As reported by Bloomberg, the choice has already been made: the leaders of Stellantis are discussing about what will be the model of battery-powered vans to add to the vehicles already in production at the Ellesmere Port plant, but there is no doubt about the solid future that will be guaranteed to the plant itself. Once the rumor circulated, Stellantis managing director for Britain, Alison Jones, allegedly admitted that the company is continuing to discuss with the local government and that no decisions have yet been made on Ellesmere Port.
