Managerial revolution for the Stellantis group which is also preparing for the farewell of Carlos Tavares in 2026. The Board of Directors which took place in the United States has in fact outlined a series of changes at the top of the company’s brands and divisions, making it official also the end of the career of the Portuguese CEO and the start of the search process for his successor. There are several changes, starting with the one at the helm of Maserati, with Santo Ficili taking over from Davide Grasso and also taking over the helm of Alfa Romeo.
New appointments in Stellantis
Antonio Filosa, in addition to maintaining the role of CEO of the Jeep brand, is appointed Chief Operating Officer for North America, succeeding Carlos Zarlenga, whose next role will be the subject of a further announcement. Antonio Filosa, who was instrumental in successfully achieving the strong performance of Stellantis’ South America region – increasing revenue, quality and market share – brings deep market and leadership experience. Jean-Philippe Learnato, in addition to maintaining the role of CEO of Pro One, is appointed Chief Operating Officer Enlarged Europe, succeeding Uwe Hochgeschurtz, who will leave the company. With almost 34 years of experience in managing brands, business units and commercial networks within the company, Jean-Philippeimpresa will contribute to strengthening the region’s commercial results during the critical period of the energy transition, with a particular focus on sales.
New guide for Alfa Romeo and Maserati
Doug Ostermann is appointed Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Natalie Knight, who will leave the company. Doug Ostermann has over 19 years of finance experience across three international groups, including Stellantis and another manufacturer, and was previously Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis China. Doug Ostermann has extensive experience in the automotive industry and finance. Gregoire Olivier, is appointed Chief Operating Officer for China as well as maintaining the role of Liaison Officer of Leapmotor, thanks to his knowledge and experience gained in the Chinese market. Holy Ficili he was appointed CEO of Maserati and Alfa Romeo and member of the Top Executive Team, thanks to his vast knowledge of the automotive sector and commercial activities. Davide Grasso’s next assignment will be the subject of a further announcement.
The future of Tavares
To improve commercial performance, the Supply Chain organization will be transferred from the Purchasing Division led by Maxime Picat to the Manufacturing Division, under the leadership of Arnaud Deboeuf.
