The market is also moving for teams
Gunther Steinerformer Haas team principal who currently continues to frequent the F1 paddock in the role of television commentator and 'ambassador' of the Miami GP, could be interested in taking over the Racing Bulls team, the 'second team' of the Red Bull family. This is the latest – intriguing – market indiscretion involving the Faenza team.
The Japanese site suggested this possible future for the former Toro Rosso as-web.jp which he underlined as sources have confirmed Steiner's intention to work on a possible new project in F1. The manager from Bolzano – who worked for the Red Bull team in the role of technical director about twenty years ago – would have already found a new investor who would like to enter Formula 1.
Racing Bulls may be for sale
Alpine has officially denied the rumors regarding a possible sale of the team by Renault and therefore would not be in the sights of the 'Steiner project', while with regards to Racing Bulls Helmut Marko recently admitted that selling the team is a possibility present on the plate, although he specified that the final say will be up to investors.
According to the Japanese site there is a possibility that theRed Bull wants to push Racing Bulls up to sixth place in the Constructors' classification – a position currently occupied by the Italian team – and then managed to sell it at a higher price to buyers. The 'sporting' conditions set by Red Bull for the sale of the team would include the use of the new Red Bull-Ford power unit for the five-year period 2026-2030, the management of a junior Red Bull driver and the possibility of continuing to use the tunnel of the Red Bull wind.
