The name of James Jarvis it might not tell you anything at first glance, but that’s thanks to the news group’s video director Future that we may already talk about an announcement of the August State of Play event starting from tomorrow. Let’s start by saying that not it is an insider and that, on his own admission, Jarvis speaks of simple conjecture.
However, what we are telling today matches a hypothetical announcement of the postponement from Horizon Forbidden West. We have already talked about a rumor that aired this hypothesis, and towards the end of this month we could also have confirmation of it. In the event, Jarvis asserts that tomorrow we may only have the announcement of the Sony live broadcast.
According to the organizer, in fact, tomorrow the “big S” could announce the next State of Play, but the event will not take place before 19 August. As a second possible announcement we may have new details on Kena: Bridge of Spirits, the action adventure coming to PS4, PS5 and also in PC format, but the tweet does not provide any other details.
Jarvis’ emojis then move on to the automotive context. As a third argument, the new one could in fact emerge Gran Turismo, which we recently got to talk about via a peripheral. In particular, the PlayStation home driving simulator has hinted at the arrival of one trial version in perhaps a very short time.
This is, of course, just rumor and speculation. Nothing is confirmed so let’s see if today brings any news. If not there’s the #Abandoned teaser inside the PS5 app which goes live tonight to look forward to.

Assuming Sony learned the art of “one more little thing” from Nintendo at the end of the presentation, Jarvis ends his first tweet with a metaphorical bombshell. We do not have clear ideas about what thesurprise announcement, but we know Sony is very fond of playing hole cards these days.
The next tweet, as you see above, reminds us that today is the big day for fans of Abandoned they now have abandoned completely the idea that Hideo Kojima is not at the helm of development. We also hope to know as much as possible as soon as possible, in order to be able to leave alone once and for all Kojima.
