The National Program for Programmers announced the start of receiving golden residency applications from programmers residing in the country and around the world, in a step that comes in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to grant 100,000 golden residency to pioneers Businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups and programming companies.
This comes within the framework of the national efforts to establish 1,000 major digital companies in the country, during the next five years, and to involve them in the process of building the digital economy of the UAE, and to create an infrastructure that stimulates creativity and innovation, and is able to keep pace with the rapid changes in various vital sectors.
The Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Omar Sultan Al Olama, stressed that the “National Program for Programmers” will support those holders of golden residency in implementing promising ideas and transforming them into integrated projects that serve the optimistic trends of the positive and decisive role of programming in the lives of societies.
All programmers, of different nationalities and ages, can apply for a golden residency in the UAE, through the Artificial Intelligence Office in the UAE government, or the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and applications will be evaluated by the government agencies concerned with issuing the golden residency for programmers who are qualified to obtain it.
Experts, talents and distinguished competencies who have recorded success stories in various fields of programming, workers in leading international companies in the technology sector, and holders of scientific degrees in one of the fields of software engineering, computer science, hardware engineering, and computer engineering can apply for the golden residency. information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, big data, and electrical engineering.
Entrepreneurs and programmers who obtain a golden residency will enjoy a range of facilities and financing options, which will be provided by the “National Program for Programmers” to support the implementation of their innovative projects and ideas.
