IGN posted a gameplay video featuring the first twenty-two minutes of Starfield: Shattered Spacethe long-awaited expansion for the Bethesda action RPG, available for a few hours on PC and Xbox Series
The sequences include phases of flight in space, important narrative implications that lay the foundations for the events of Shattered Space, as well as numerous combat sections in first person as our character explores a seemingly abandoned station.
As you know, the expansion plot will see us face the appearance of a mysterious power in the city of Dazra and it is there that we will have to concentrate our investigations in an attempt to discover the nature of this threatening force and foil a threat of a cosmic level.
The mission will take us to visit the station seen in the gameplay video, discovering the terrible secrets linked to it a sort of secret societycomposed of worshipers of a deity known as “the Great Serpent”.
A long journey
The launch of Starfield: Shattered Space marks an important step in the current path of the Bethesda title, which has received several updates so far but it took a while to wait as far as additional content is concerned.
It will therefore be interesting to observe how users will welcome Shattered Space and what results the expansion will be able to produce in terms of numbers and involvement, as quite some time has now passed since Starfield’s debut on PC and Xbox Series
Certainly the first reactions on Steam were not positive, with over half of the reviews negative: a phenomenon that developers will clearly have to reflect on.
