Less than 24 hours have passed since the launch of theStarfield’s Shattered Space expansionbut up Steam hundreds of user reviews have already been published. And most of them are negative.
At the time of writing the percentage of positive evaluations is only 46% out of 451 reviews, with the DLC appearing to have failed to convince a significant portion of players.
Criticism from Steam players
At the basis of the numerous negative reviews it seems there are no technical problems, performance below expectations or profuse bugs, with the majority of users stating that Shattered Space simply it adds nothing more than what has already been seen in the base gamewithout correcting some of the less appreciated aspects of Bethesda’s latest effort.
For example, Enzevil states “unfortunately it’s not what I expected from Bethesda, and it’s just more Starfield like the base game. I was hoping they would take into consideration the criticisms about the story, writing, characters and mission design, but alas It’s not that great.”
“It’s mediocre. If you were hoping for something to revitalize the game, expect disappointment. If you’re just looking for more story content, you’ll be satisfied,” says Amchero.
It must be said that these are only the first hot evaluations and that a significant portion of reviews it almost seems like he wants to “punish” Shattered Space plus for the problems at Starfield base (which in turn has a low percentage of positive ratings on Steam), rather than due to actual shortcomings or problems with the DLC.
The appeal also lacks reviews from the international press arriving in the next few days, given that Bethesda did not send preview codes before the launch of the expansion.
