Starfield do you like it or not? In fact, don’t tell us, it doesn’t really matter, because Bethesda is more than sure that it’s the his best game from many points of viewit doesn’t matter if the final result isn’t for you.
The statement comes from Emil Pagliarulo – Bethesda design director – who spoke to GamesRadar. During an interview the developer had his say on the matter.

Pagliarulo said: “I think in many ways, Starfield is the hardest thing Bethesda has ever done. We pushed ourselves to do something totally different. Put the biggest, richest space simulation RPG you could imagine into an Xbox. The fact that we did it makes Starfield something of a technical marvel. in many ways, the best game we’ve ever made. But the most important thing for us is that Starfield has its own unique personality and now sits alongside Fallout and Elder Scrolls.”
“It might not be the type of game everyone lovesbut what is?”, added Pagliarulo, “We have created a new IP, from scratch, and an absolutely unique experience on console. I’m not saying Starfield is better or worse than other games, just that it’s different in what we offer. It’s that strange Bethesda blend of immersion, action and role-playing… but also different [dagli] more RPGs from Bethesda”.
Of course, in the end the public’s reaction also counts in part and, as far as the DLC is concerned, it doesn’t seem to be entirely positive: Starfield – Shattered Space has not convinced players on Steam: over half of the reviews are negative.
