Star Wars Outlaws It is certainly not intended to be a punishing game, like many modern works, but this does not mean that certain sections are a little more complicated than others, to the point that the public complains about it and that the creators themselves admit that there is something to fix.
Star Wars Outlaws director Julian Gerighty has in fact confirmed the arrival of a patch, expected “maybe in 10 days”, for resolve the “unfair” and “incredibly punishing” stealth sequences of the game.
Words from the director of Star Wars Outlaws
In an interview with GamesRadar+Gerighty admitted that while the team intentionally designed the sequence to create ‘tension,’ “it didn’t [voleva] that it seemed unfair. And today, I think it is unfair.”
“It’s something we’ve come to understand in the last week or so and we’re already correcting for a patch that will come out maybe in 10 days. In particular, you’re probably thinking of one of the early missions in Mirogana, which is incredibly punishing,” Gerighty said.
“For me it’s a mistake, and that’s it one aspect we want to improve. I don’t think this means eliminating the possibility of mission failure, but I think there are millions of possibilities at hand to make the game much more fun and understandable.”
Gerighty also confirmed that the team is looking for other “blocks” that prevent players from “enjoying the game”revealing that Ubisoft will “tweak the narrative context” – such as adding ads to better contextualize what’s happening – “so that people can enjoy those moments as much as possible.”
Additionally, the director of Star Wars Outlaws was disappointed by critical reviews.
