Star Comics is the new publisher of Hellboy and other works by Mike Mignola in Italy

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of HellboyStar Comics has announced that it is the new publisher of the works of Mike Mignola in Italy. This news marks a crucial moment for comics fans, as the famous red demon will return to Italian bookstores and comic shops with a special re-edition scheduled for next October, published by the Astra label.

A Master of Modern Comics

Mike Mignola is one of the most influential authors of modern comics, known for his unique graphic style that combines German expressionism with the art of Jack Kirby. His works are characterized by simple geometric shapes and chiaroscuro contrasts that create gothic and macabre atmospheres, rich in folklore and mythology.

The plot follows the adventures of Hellboy, who works for the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD), battling supernatural creatures and facing his demonic destiny as he chooses to protect humanity.
