Mexico.- The Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) maintains close coordination with state governments to guarantee Zero Impunity in different criminal acts that have occurred in recent weeks in the country.
In the morning conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Undersecretary of Public Security, Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, presented the advances in the collaboration around five investigations.
These are the events in San José de Gracia, Michoacán; the violence in the Corregidora stadium in Querétaro; the death of Pedro Carrizales, “El Mijis”, as well as the murders of journalists Margarito Martínez, in Tijuana; and Juan Carlos Muñiz, in Fresnillo, Zacatecas.
He explained that by presidential instruction and the head of the SSPCRosa Icela Rodríguez, there is permanent communication with Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla and the Attorney General of Michoacán, Adrián López.
He reported that it has already been possible to identify the head of the criminal group that victimized Alejandro “N” and presumably other people, as well as the one called “Pájaros Sierra”, linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
“There are entrances and exits located with different vehicles, the hotel where they operated, and with the support of court orders, various searches of homes, commercial premises and properties have been carried out. Weapons, cartridges, explosives, drugs and evidence have been seized
who pay for the criminal investigation.
“Anonymous complaints were received, for which permanent search tasks have been carried out for the possible bodies of the victims, in the places that were indicated and in possible places,” he said.
It was also confirmed that there was no timely alert by the municipal authority, for which an investigation folder was opened, in addition to reinforcing the state of force in the area with elements of the National Defense and National Guard.

Tragedy in the Corregidora and Pedro Carrizales
Regarding the acts of violence at the Corregidora stadium, during the match between Gallos Blancos and Atlas, the undersecretary reported that since Saturday afternoon, collaboration support was offered to Governor Mauricio Kuri González, as well as to the Querétaro State Attorney General’s Office. .
“Fortunately, there is no dead person,” Mejía reiterated, recalling that it is an issue of the state government, the preventive police and the stadium’s security. However, he added, the help of the National Guard was requested to accompany the Atlas team on its journey on the day of the events.
In the case of Pedro César Carrizales, “El Mijis”, the official commented that the family authorized reporting, without reproducing sensitive images, about the collaboration with the prosecutor’s offices of Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí and Coahuila.
“We are going to be very attentive to the local authorities to contribute to the investigation, especially so that there is no doubt, especially due to some previous calls, messages, that Pedro Carrizales, ‘El Mijis’, made to his wife .

Arrests for murder of journalist
When reporting on the murder of journalist Margarito Martínez, the undersecretary spoke of the execution of three arrest warrants against the intellectual and material authors: Cristian Adán “N”, alias “El 16” and alias “El Jaguar”; José “N”, alias “El Huesos”; and Adrián “N” alias “El Uber”.
“In days past, different searches were carried out in different buildings in Tijuana. 10 alleged culprits of different crimes were arrested and, among them, are the three material and intellectual authors of the events of Margarito, with which definitive progress is being made in combating this
impunity,” he warned.
Presumed authors of the murder of Muñiz
He also announced that in the case of the journalist Juan Carlos Muñiz, murdered last Friday in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, the authors have already been identified and there will soon be court orders for his arrest.
