The Korean site has created a graphic for the event, which you can see below, inspired by the style of Squid Game, with “guards” with pink hoods and masks. Like in the show, those who don’t follow the rules come deleted from the game, obviously you are only let out of the race, no one will have firearms. The identity of the conductor of the event will be kept secret until the end.
The Korea Times reports that the reactions to this real Squid Game they have not been totally positive: some have wondered if by chance it was a copyright infringement of Netflix and, above all, if it was a good idea to organize such an event during a pandemic.
Furthermore, this is not the only event scheduled. In Wonju, Gangwon province, a company that manages a camping site is organizing a Squid Game themed event. Players will need to dress in a green track suit to win 45,600 points for use on the company’s online platform. Here, too, no one will be shot in case of bankruptcy.
