Squid Game becomes a reality show: the trailer | VIDEO
Squid Game, the successful South Korean TV series, becomes a reality show, which will also be broadcast on Netflix starting from November 22nd: it was the same streaming platform that announced it through the release of the trailer of the program.
While waiting for the second season of the series, currently in production, fans of the show will be able to follow the reality show which will see 456 contestants from all over the world try their hand at many of the obviously non-fatal tests seen in Squid Game.
Up for grabs is a rich prize pool of 4.56 million dollars, 10 thousand for each competitor.
The study has been reproduced exactly like the setting of the series, while among the tests proposed there will also be the popular “One, two, three star” with the “killer” doll who in this case will hit the contestants with paint bullets.
The creation of the reality show was not easy: many contestants, in fact, complained about the brutality and difficulty of the game, just as some needed medical assistance.
“People left in tears” declared one of the contestants. In particular, during the filming of the game “Red Light, Green Light”, carried out at Cardington Studios in Bedford, a former air force base, the participants found themselves playing in sub-zero temperatures due to intense cold wave.
