Yesterday, Final Fantasy fans got everything they wanted and more. At a special presentation for the 25th anniversary of the seventh numerical installment in the series, Square Enix confirmed that the remake of Final Fantasy 7 It will be made up of three parts. While we await the release of the second installment at the end of next year, it has been confirmed that Tetsuya Nomura is already working on the third and final chapter of this reimagining of the PS1 classic.
Through a statement shared on the official accounts of Square Enix, Tetsuya Nomura, who directed Final Fantasy 7 Remake and is currently the creative supervisor of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthhas pointed out that is already working on the third part of this trilogy. This was what he commented on it:
“A game of this scale where everything is interconnected before production begins is very rare. In fact, some of the development of the third game has started. I have started development myself and am working on completing the series.”

In his statement, Nomura mentioned that the team adopted a new development structure for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which seems to speed up the process, so it is not ruled out that the third part of Remake will come out earlier than expected. Unfortunately, there is no more information about the conclusion to this story, and it is very likely that this will remain so for a long, long time.
For the meantime, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth It’s coming to PS5 sometime in the 2023 holiday season.. On related topics, a remastering of Crisis Core. Similarly, here you can see the first preview of reborn.
Editor’s note:
To begin with, it is a great surprise to hear that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth It will be available at the end of next year. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the third part of this trilogy hits our hands at some point in 2025. I just can’t wait anymore.
