During the past few hours, with more exactness precisely on the closure of the State of Play, Square Enix has announced two new games arriving in 2022.
The titles in question are The Diofield Chronicle And Valkyrie Elysium and they are not exactly the heavyweights that the public expected from the company, for the more curious you can find the trailers just below.
The Diofield Chronicle is a strategic title that strongly draws inspiration from Final Fantasy. Despite the cartoon graphics, the game proves to have a style all its own, we are sure that lovers of the genre will find bread for their teeth.
The second title in question is Valkyrie Elysium and is the new Action-RPG of the homonymous series. Unfortunately the plot is still hidden, but you can get an idea of the game thanks to the gameplay trailer released.
Unfortunately the new State of Play was a bit poor in announcements, among the most relevant we find the new trailer for Forspoken and the news of the new expansion dedicated to Returnalfind more details in our dedicated news that you find here and here respectively.
With great regret, therefore, these were the only two games announced by Square Enix, unfortunately some rumors had spread regarding the long-awaited Final Fantasy XVI, but at this rate the company’s flagship IP really risks being seen during the next E3. So, if you were disappointed, as usual, we invite you not to give too much weight to the rumors. However, after the slip of Forspokenwe expect that the sixteenth final fantasy has undergone the same shift, even if in this case only internal since a date had not yet been announced.
We hope to receive more information in the future, for now let’s enjoy The Diofield Chronicle And Valkyrie Elysium which we are confident will both be released by the end of 2022.
