After seeing the trailer for Doctor Strange: multiverse of madness at the end of Spider-Man: no way home, we realized that, beyond the presence of Wanda Maxinoff, the dark version of Stephen Strange appears, the same variant that was part of What If …?, season 1.

With both versions meeting in the film, this confirms that the plot will connect with the first season of What if …?, But also that the characters will have a trip to a terrifying place in the multiverse of the MCU.
