Such has been the case of the screenwriters of Spiderman: no way home, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who participated in an interview with Gold Derby. In this conversation, Erik Sommers confessed that Aunt May’s death scene was not the first plot line that was planned.
“We had an idea that he was going to be inside an ambulance. (We had made) a full version that was built around that, but it wasn’t practical for filming during COVID. So that was the kind of thing that happened, so we had to physically move the scene to another place while trying to keep all the other elements working, as well as making adjustments, “said Sommers.

He also said that in the end he liked how this part of the film turned out, because it was how they wanted it and, on the other hand, when it was seen in theaters, Spider-Man fans responded very well to it.
