Why is Spider-Man Day celebrated every August 1?
Those in charge of electing August 1 as the spider man day were the superhero fans themselves. In this way, they intended to honor his first appearance in Marvel comics, in “Amazing Fantasy # 15 ″.

What was Spider-Man’s first appearance?
Spider-Man first appeared in “Amazing Fantasy #15″Marvel publication August 1962. This was the last issue of Lee and Ditko’s popular anthology magazine.
