Sony Pictures has finally shared the first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: across the Spider-Verse (part one), the long-awaited sequel to Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse, where we will not only see how this acclaimed story expands from the universes of other Spider-Man, but the plot will explore the story of Miles Morales, the already iconic arachnid superhero from Brooklyn
With the arrival of this long-awaited clip, an important detail has also been confirmed: the continuation of the animated feature film will be divided into two parts. Likewise, we are shown Spider-Man 2099 (better known as Miguel O’Hara) in a battle against Morales; however, what role it will play specifically is unknown.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter in the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport the sympathetic Spider-Man from Brooklyn full time across the multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new Spider team. -People to take on a villain more powerful than anything they have encountered.

Cast and crew
This sequel will feature the return of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter Parker, and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy. In addition to these characters, Across the Spider-Verse will also include Issa Rae as Jessica Drew / Spider-Woman.
As for the minds behind its making, Collider says that Joaquim Dos Santos (Voltron: legendary defender), Kemp Powers (One Night in Miami) and Justin K. Thompson (Cloudy with a chance of meatballs) are the directors. Meanwhile, the script was developed by David Callaham (Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings), Phil Lord (Lego the movie) and Chris Miller (Lego the movie).
Release date
As confirmed by the aforementioned portal, Spider-Man: across the Spider-Verse will hit theaters on October 7, 2022.
