Genoa – After Ebrima Colley, Spezia secures the loan of another Atalanta player: the 24-year-old Ukrainian playmaker Viktor Kovalenko arrives on loan from Bergamo. Attacking midfielder or mezzala, Kovalenko grew up in Shakhtar Donetsk before joining the team coached by Gian Piero Gasperini last January. For Kovalenko also 31 appearances in the Ukrainian national team. The arrival of Colley and Kovalenko is part of a broader agreement between Spezia and Atalanta which should lead to full-back Arkadiusz Reca in the coming days, and the forward Roberto Piccoli on loan.
Meanwhile, Spezia continues training in the sports center of Follo. The last swabs carried out yesterday gave a negative result again: tomorrow Maggiore and his teammates will observe the last day in the preventive bubble ordered by the health authorities, while from Tuesday they will be able to train in a group again under the orders of the coach Thiago Motta.
