In a brief statement, the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) announced that a city court opened an “investigation for the alleged commission of the crimes of influence peddling and corruption in business against Begoña Gómez.”
It all starts with Clean Hands, a group founded in 1995 that filed the complaint against Begoña Gómez, and which has been behind several lawsuits in recent years and has acted as a civil party in many corruption cases.

Clean Hands Complaints
Among the accusations is one against Irene Montero, former Minister of Equality, for criticizing the judges in relation to the application of the sexual crimes reform, and against the former vice president and former leader of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias -Montero's partner- for the PISA report. , according to CNN in Spanish.
In 2016, the National Court of Spain opened an investigation against Manos Liminas and Ausbanc, an entity known as a defender of consumer bank clients, for alleged extortion practices.
