The Ministry of Health has already distributed almost 46 million doses
Spain surpassed this Thursday another milestone in its vaccination campaign that began last December. Today the country exceeded 20 million people with the complete guideline, that is, on paper immunized against the covid.
In total, to date a total of 20,528,505 people have received both punctures (in the case of Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca), a single inoculation (in the case of the Janssen single-dose formula) or a single puncture when having past illness in the six months prior to injection.
In total, 43.3% of the Spanish population is theoretically protected with the complete regimen and 57.5% have received at least one dose (27,277,127 inhabitants).
According to the statistics published today, only in the last 24 hours 690,749 doses have been inoculated.
The Ministry of Health has already supplied the communities with 45,924,484 injectables since the vaccination campaign began on December 27 with the puncture of a nonagenarian in a residence in Guadalajara.
