Sony closed a partnership with Multilaser to return to selling branded headphones in the country. The decision comes about four months after the manufacturer announced the closure of commercial activities here.
According to Techtudo, the Brazilian company said that the focus will be on premium brand products, increasing the offer for more demanding users. It is worth remembering that the agreement comes shortly after Toshiba’s return to the domestic market, also with Multilaser.

In an interview with Estadão, André Poroger, vice president of products at Multilaser, said that the catalog will initially have 23 models of the in-ear and Bluetooth type, which will be imported and will cost between R$ 60 and R$ 2,700.
The strategy of using partners to maintain its presence in the country was one of the possibilities raised in September 2020, when the company revealed the closing of its factories in the country, and this is the first partnership announcement made since then.
