Mexico City- After presenting its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2021, Sony reduced the expectation of sales of PlayStation 5 in the remainder of February and March due to the constant shortage of semiconductors and problems in supply chains.
The company expects the sale of 11.5 million units by March 31, instead of 14.8 million as previously estimated, to this forecast is added that in the last quarter of 2021, Sony registered the sale of 3.9 million consoles, a lower figure compared to 4.5 million compared to the same period in 2020.
