Mexico City.- While dozens of supporters of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador They “got up early” yesterday afternoon to position themselves at the Angel of Independence -from where the march in support of the president-, others warn of pressure to participate.

According to testimonies, street vendors, merchants, taxi drivers and other beneficiaries of government support were warned that they had to participate in the demonstration, if they did not want to lose their benefits.

“They told me that if I don’t go, for four weekends, Saturday and Sunday that the street market is on, I couldn’t sell,” said Don Luis, who has two stalls in the street market in Colonia Michoacana, in Venustiano Carranza City Hall.
